Who are you?

I’m a professional neuroscientist who has been conducting biomedical research for ten years.  My research experience includes eye-tracking, structural and functional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), electroencephalography and event-related potentials (EEG/ERP), cognitive testing, neuropsychological assessment, clinical trials, and behavioral intervention trials, as well as animal models and bacterial genetics.  My goal is to enhance the impact of scientific research on society through my passions for science policy, advocacy, and outreach.

I think scientists have an obligation to communicate their findings effectively, so that society can benefit.  So with some fellow grad students, I started our official graduate group blog.  It serves as a resources to current and future students, keeps us up-to-date on what’s going on within our community as well as the field as a whole.
